Aims and Objectives

Bosnia Express is a youth NGO, that is apolitical, multiethnic, non-profit and humanitarian that was founded according to the free will of its members. The main objectives and activities of NGO Bosnia Express are:

 Aims

1. Development of civil society through organising cultural events in Bosnia and Herzegovina
2. Connecting all people of BiH, including people living in the Diaspora, through new media (internet) by promotion of cultural, informative, multiethnic and other promotional content in BiH and wider areas.
3. Development of new, electronic and written media in BiH
4. Promoting gender equality by by stimulating more women to enter the media workplace (it is still a male dominant in Bosnia).
5. Organising different campaigns and raising awareness in youth (about deviant behaviours in society, in particular drug and alcohol abuse, racism, criminality), using new media.
6. Humanitarian work with children and youth

 Objectives

1. Organising lectures, seminars, workshops and roundtables in the field of culture and media
2. Intercultural cooperation and organisation of cultural events by bringing artists from other countries
3. Sending young people from BiH to other countries for exchange of cultural heritage and their participation in different cultural events
4. Engaging international experts to lecture in different seminars, workshops and round tables in the field of new, electronic and written media with the aim to develop media in BiH
5. Educating young people in literary work and foreign languages
6. Organising seminars and workshops to promote gender equality in BiH
7. Work on raising funds for people who need help the most and organising activities that promote humanism and solidarity amongst young people.
